| Ladies’ 2025 Season Finale |
| Too many highlights to keep track of! |
| What a way to end the 2025 golfing season for our incredible ladies at St Francis Links. The final major of the year delivered some unforgettable moments, leaving us all buzzing with excitement for what 2026 holds.
First and foremost, a massive round of applause goes to our champions. |
| Glorianne le Roux (left) and Beth Jaskolski (right) with an outstanding victory that secured their place on the Honours Board! |
| We also want to give a special shout-out to Lynn Slogrove, who achieved an impressive three 2-clubs on the day.
The highlight of the day belongs to our very own Ladies Captain, Sue Cogswell! She achieved the perfect shot, sinking her 4th career hole-in-one, and her first as a St Francis Links member! |
| What a phenomenal way for our captain to wrap up the year!
Congratulations to all the ladies who took home prizes, and a heartfelt thank you to Jess Peens Properties for her continued and valuable support of our club and our ever-growing ladies’ section. |

| An Evening With Local Storytellers |
| Bart and Caryl Logie are well-known local authors and storytellers who have spent many years exploring and documenting the rich natural and cultural heritage of the St Francis region. Their work beautifully weaves together history, landscapes, birds, plants, and the stories of the people who shaped this coastline. With their deep knowledge and warm, engaging style, their talks are always a highlight — insightful, entertaining, and full of fascinating discoveries. Now they bring you STORIES FROM THE CART PATH … and some interesting insights into the early days of St Francis Links.

| Our Festive Season is full of exciting events! |
|
|
| As you reflect on your year so far, can we ask: ‘Did you place enough emphasis on your short game?’ From any position off the green, inside 50 metres, how many shots were you likely to take?
Did you put too much pressure on your short game? Let’s take the pressure off: |
| 1. Give yourself the best chance of making Par BEFORE you hunt a BIRDIE. Plan your approach shots so that you don’t miss on the short side. Try to ensure that if you miss, it’s an easier short-game save.
2. Know when it’s a GOOD BOGEY. When you’re faced with a difficult short shot for a save, do NOT take additional risk.
Having planned correctly (and improved your scorecard), then it’s all about technique and execution. |
| And now we have another question |
| We can make this as simple as a self-assessment placing yourself in one of 3 levels. |
