Exciting times…despite!

Marsha Cooper put together two great short videos for Harcourt’s all about living at St Francis Links. Darren Peens interviewed me for Sotherby’s and Estate Living and the Links and St Francis Bay come out the overall winners from these efforts. St Francis Links is now regarded one of the top residential options in the area thanks to a solid financial base, great lifestyle options and a secure living environment. Young families and the forever young are now being joined by those who can work from here, either at home or on our spacious deck (with the best cappuccino in town).

Since lockdown, where everyone’s lives changed for one reason or another, saw many people reevaluating their lives, their fitness and health and their options going forward. We are facing a difficult second wave of Covid, but I would still rather be here than almost any other place in the world.

Darren Peens sat me down for half an hour and we shared our love for St Francis Links and St Francis Bay. This video certainly shows my love for what I do, where I am and who I’m with. After seeing the finish, I said to Darren, “I put a tear in my eye!” Three cheers to where we chose to be!

They didn’t see them coming!

Joan Pratt and Kay Sadler may not have come in as the favourites, but they came in as the champions in this year’s Ladies Member-Member Partnership. And from the table below, you can see that they beat a strong lineup of contenders. Lyn Slogrove was battling sone health issues, but Madelaine encouraged her through to second. Two ladies vying for player of the year teamed up for the event and came a strong third. Well done, Rita and Jaunita.

There are actually BIG smiles under there!
