and the beat goes on!
The rest of the Cape and the Garden Route are down in tourism numbers and we remain on the up; We are up 9% in golf rounds since January when most Clubs are reporting a bit of a downward trend. There is no doubt the water crisis had ripple effects with travellers opting for destinations without any perceived hassles. The Internationals from Scandinavia returned for their long stays and our returning guests were well-received and well looked after. With more homes coming up, more members are playing golf. our events draw attention resulting in another great article published; this time we featured in the monthly Golf RSA, which many of you received. It’s all good.
We are growing, we are attracting visitors and investors our community and the entire Village community benefits from it!
Grant Bowen reinvested in St Francis Links, building his second home on the Estate. Another great young family moves on to the Estate with the Paul Spencer family buying Grant’s first home.
Dawn Patrol with a difference!
Sometimes you just have to get up and get out there. This past week, Charl and I did a course inspection on the back nine and it was a morning that would have had photographer, Grant Leversha, begging for more. The i-phone will have to do and it could not show what we saw in it’s best form.
Congratulations Fred and Kelly on the birth of Rafael!
