- Chrisna did it without her contacts!
- Jandre made no mistakes
Then Ultimate Par-3 Championships
More than 90 members teed off in the Annual Par-3 Champs and it was another big hit on the calendar. This year on the ladies’ side, we had a playoff with Rose Gunton and Chrisna Chalmers playing the 18th one more time. TK said that both ladies were nervous on the tee and Chrisna arrived with “no eyes” after taking her contacts out after golf. Rose’s first shot was misguided and found bush. Chrisna found the green but it took a while to locate the hole. In the end, it came down to one shot (like Max V’s last lap)!
On the Men’s side, Jandre Lessing played flawless golf with two birdies and only one drop. His 53 gross was good enough to nip Hole-in-One man, Shaun Viljoen, by 2. Reynier Meyer also had a Hole-in-One. Shaun’s was on the 5th and Reynier’s was on the 16th
Many of the players got into the fancy dress theme with Manie Maritz coming out tops!
