You can play the ‘back tees’. 18 holes. Medal, every shot to count. That’s one form of golf. Challenging. Humbling. Occasionally exhilarating. |
Or, with 3 friends you can play ‘Scramble drive’ to try and make sure most 2nd shots are from the fairway. It’s competition amongst mates from there. Or find another fourball, make it two to count and compete as a team with them. Shared experience. Shared fun.
Or a Sunday afternoon with young son and daughter out on the course. Why start from the tee-box? Why not everyone start from 40 yards? Nothing intimidating. Still a challenge. But family time with lots of opportunity for great moments. |
Golf can be played so many different ways. It can be competitive, shared, or even nurturing. It’s your choice. We recommend you find time to regularly get out with people you care about and play a format that encourages happiness. Try it. Nothing beats happy golf. |
