One of the biggest and best weddings to date!

The DeVilliers’ wedding over the past weekend was an “event” to say the very least. The wedding attended by 200 enthusiastic guests were treated to the best of the best on offer.

The Clubhouse deck and restaurant were transformed for the wedding with set-up commencing 4 days before. But, as usual, you came into the Club on Tuesday morning and all was back to normal!

Jessica De Villiers and Sean Hooker were married here on an amazing day!

There were days of celebrations – started on Wednesday with MEXICAN PARTY at their home on the canals, breakfast at Bruce’s on Thursday, sunset cruises on Thursday, sundowners on Friday at Sunset Rocks!

I am incredibly proud of our team as everyone pitched in from all departments to assist. The golf team, the accounts team and the outside team all assisted in serving, clearing and all that was needed.

Congratulations to all!

 

Tribute to Eugenie and the baby to be!

The members and friends rallied in mass to support Kevern and Eugenie’s new arrival! They gathered in the restaurant with snacks and drinks, stories and laughs. Eugenie’s baby girl is due in early April.
