Our course has evolved and proven to play differently for men and ladies.
So we have added ladies strokes to the new scorecards where the playability differs from the men’s strokes.
It is what it is! Our course is now 11 year’s old and despite (sometimes, because) the “staggering” of tees for men and ladies varies from hole to hole, the playability does too. Hole 9 is hole 9 and plays number 1 as the most difficult hole on the course. However, holes
11 and 13 which are always challenging forthe men, the front tees allow the ladies a far greater advantage in distance and difficulty. We all know that our par-5’s as a group, are some of the strongest par-5’s anywhere. For that reason, they all remain lower strokes on the card. 18 remains the second most challenging holes for men while 15 is the second-hardest for the ladies. Here are the new cards for 2017-8.
Grant Leversha presents our 4th hole on the outside of the card. What a pic!

It’s also the time of year for golf travel. We join others in advertising our course countrywide. We pride ourselves on over-delivering with personal services, additional opportunities, special events, shoot-outs and so much more. We’ll supply the braai or what you need to do it yourselves; we’ll serve your meals here or recommend the area establishments who will exceed your expectations (and of course, we’ll do the booking for you). Why? Because we can and we want to!
Why not sign up for the special events coming up in the future and expand them into a few days of play! Play in the Inter-Estate Challenge, enter the Ernie Els for Autism in June, start planning for the Invitationals – ladies and men; Invite your friends in for the best golf in SA (and beyond).
