The Vodacom Origins of Golf FINALS
Exposure, competition, great golf, media, revenues and great memories for the “ambassadors” who came to play!
That’s why we have golf tournaments. In addidition to the great golf, Dan Nichol, who has his own television show, Dale Hayes, who has his own show and weekly column, Denis Hutchinson who broadcasts on international television and Michael Vlismas who writes syndicated stoires for all sorts of media will all be here to see and then talk about OUR St Francis Links. It’s not the SA OPEN (yet) but it will bring more recognition for the course, our amenities, accommodation and our services. Hold thumbs that Mother Nature is on board and all is good for golf at St Francis Links!
We will be hosting all of the top players on the Sunshine Tour Order of Merit – headed by recent champion, Jaco Ahlers, who recently won the final qualifying Vodacom event at Euphoria.
Corporate Golfers enjoy a great day (and night)
The organizers from the PSG Golf Day were very impressed with the day they received here last Thursday. 120 golfers participated in the golf day and more than 130 attended the dinner, prizegiving and auction that followed. Mother Nature joined the day with her best dress on so the only extra requirement was sun block! Corporate days here are often headed by an organizer hired by the company. We make sure that the organizers have everything they need before they ask. We take pride in providing a great experience from the first tee to the last bite of dessert. Well done to Thinus and his team, Eugenie and Brad and their teams and of course, Charl an his team for a great course – day in and day out!

Shoe room – Locker Room attendant
Nazeem Goeda has been with us since the 1st of October 2016.
He will bring the life back into your shoes.
His friendly smile will be very familiar in the shoe room and assisting members and guests with any of their locker queries.
Shamornay Williams is a waitress at St Francis Links, she has been working with us for 2 years now. She has 2 children (6years and 4months). She is planning to get married next year.
