| Our Annual Greensomes were played by 108 members! |
| This past Saturday may have been one of the best golfing days on record. Our downstairs temporary Clubhouse was packed and filled with “GEES”.
The day kicked off with a brilliant breakfast buffet. Then I gave a short talk about the course and the changes which have been made for the better. |
| I also took the time to thank our Captains for their combined efforts in growing golf. Sue and her team can be extremely proud of the growth in ladies golf.
We continue levelling tees, replacing all the penalty area markers and some replacing our “divot bins”. Your suggestions and comments are always appreciated. When positive changes can be made, they will be implemented. |

As we move closer to this date, please take note of the following important dates and potential disruptions:
- Thursday, 3 July onwards – The Halfway Deli will serve as both the bar and food service point while contractors begin relocating and reinstalling equipment back into the clubhouse. The temporary bar, which has served so well, will be dismantled.
- Around 10 – 11 July – The white office containers will be removed from the parking area, and the admin ladies will no longer be stationed there.
- Monday 14 July – Bi-annual maintenance power outage for the whole estate from 08h00 to 16h00. The clubhouse will also have no electricity from 07h00 to 11h00 as work takes place on the main DB.
- 10 -15 July – Our F&B, administration and accounts teams will move back into the clubhouse.
You may experience intermittent disruptions in access to our departmental staff (other than golf and the halfway deli), as well as administrative and telephone services, between 10 and 16 July 2025 during this transition.
We kindly ask for your patience as we complete these removals and resume operations from the clubhouse. For any queries or assistance, we encourage you to always make use of the Help Desk option on the Glovent app. |

| Le Trophee Du Coq … The Men vs. the Ladies |
Always one for the memory books!
26 July 2025 |
| Get ready for one of the most anticipated events of the year, Le Trophee du Coq, where the battle of the sexes takes centre stage! It’s a betterball stableford competition with 85% Handicap Conversion.
The defending champions, our gallant Gents, are sure to remind everyone that they are the proud carriers of the trophy. With their competitive spirit and a few cheeky tactics up their sleeves, they’ll be looking to defend their title against a fierce challenge from the ladies.
But don’t underestimate our formidable ladies! They have some tricks planned to throw off their opponents’ game. Rumour has it that lipstick may become part of their strategy! Yes – you heard that right!
If any gentleman dares to leave a putt short, he might just find himself sporting a look reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe. So gentlemen, take heed: no putt left short can go in if you want to avoid an unexpected makeover!
After all the excitement on the course, the hospitality team will have some light meals and drinks promotions available for you to enjoy. |

| Better together |
| Become a golfing family |
|
| Family time and golfing time don’t have to be mutually exclusive. Golf is one of the few pastimes that enables you to spend several hours outdoors together with your family. It’s like going for a nice walk together, but with added fun. |
| Golf can be played by every member of your family, regardless of age and skill level. And once you’re all in the game, you can share in each other’s experience and progress. |
 |
|
By focusing on developing their movement ABCs – Agility, Balance, Coordination, Speed – we give children between 0- and 6-years-old a solid foundation for later golf-specific coaching.

|
| Good for the whole family |
| Being a golfing family means having a shared passion, something you can enjoy together. It’s also a great way for you, your children and your partner to stay active and healthy. |
