Big Groups, Ladies’ Invitational and a Bigg (s) Wedding…and Father’s Day!
It doesn’t slow down here at St Francis Links. We host groups, functions, birthdays, weddings, conferences, Bridge Club, tournaments and parkrun every week. My friend, Richard Gill, brought more than 60 golfing enthusiasts from Cape Town and Durban as his Corporate Cup series came here. Their two-day stay here was complimented by two nights at Cape St Francis Resort, with functions there and here. Some of the golfers were newbies and full of praise for our great course that has returned to superb condition.

This year’s Ladies’ Invitational was played in superb weather with a cool luncheon that followed in the Leisure Centre. The Ladies received lovely accessory bags on arrival sporting the St Francis Links Logo. All very well received!
Lynn Slogrove and her guest, Noeline de Ridder took the trophy with an impressive 42 Points!
Their names will be added to our champion’s board – for the 2nd time!
Lynn’s name has become a regular occurrence on it over the years. This will make it her 10th time appearing on our champion’s board!
