The foundation of a good golf swing is balance.
When you lose the tempo of your golf swing it is very difficult to deliver the clubhead to the ball. If you try to increase clubhead speed it is more difficult to keep your balance.
How does balance during the golf swing work?
1. At adress, your weight should be ballanced equally over the insteps of both feet, not towards the heel or toes.
2. At the top of your backswing about 90% of your weight should be on your right side. It is very important to keep the right knee flexed.
3. When your golf swing is finished almost all of your weight should be on your left foot.
I encourage you to go to the practice range and concentrate on your balance. For more information you can contact me pro@stfrancislinks.com or 0827643044.
