Forever Young as Lissa Dyer sets the pace!
Who says you can’t be forever young – in mind and body! One of our members, Lissa Dyer, invited a few of her closest friends for lunch – hats required – and then her husband, Norman, pulled off the perfect surprise for her new 50th!
It was a brunch, a beeeeautiful gathering of friends on the Veranda, ladies only – except for the loving speeches from the family. When it was all over, the family all gave excuses as to why they could not stay on and Norman offered a quiet retreat for the two of them near Graaff Reinet. The surprise came when they arrived at their destination only to be blown away by the entire family – even those who could not make the luncheon. Norman, my wife compares all good things men should do to the things YOU do – not fair!
We love it when we, St Francis Links, love being a part of special days, events and memorable occasions – it’s even better when we become part of the memory.
