Marius Alberts was appointed as an interim director in December 2024, in accordance with Article 6.1.9 of our respective Memoranda of Incorporation. He has made himself available to stand as director again.

Marius, a keen golfer, holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Financial Management and Business Economics. With over 40 years of extensive experience in the banking and property industries, he has served as CEO of ABSA/Barclays Africa Namibia. A seasoned executive, Marius has held senior leadership positions on various Boards of Directors, contributing across multiple functions. Marius and his wife Cornelia live permanently at St Francis Links.

Diana Biggs, nominated by a fellow property owner, and her husband Bonnen bought their Links home some years ago and have lived here permanently since January 2024.  A teacher by profession, Diana has also served on governing bodies of the church, homeowners associations, other leadership roles as well as a councillor in the Kouga Municipality.  Diana regularly joins the ladies for golf and enjoys the camaraderie.

Diana will contribute with her unique skills in furthering unity, strategic thinking, planning and problem-solving for our estate.  With her accreditation as a Neuro Life and Performance Coach, and BA degree, the value which she will lend to our Boards will advance our communal objectives.

Peter Kopke was appointed as an interim director in December 2024, in accordance with Article 6.1.9 of our respective Memoranda of Incorporation.  He has made himself available to stand as director again.

Peter, a golfer, holds a diploma in Business Management and has a distinguished track record in directorship and operations executive roles, particularly in the food and retail industry. He has also served on numerous governing bodies, including as chairman. Peter brings invaluable expertise in marketing, business management and strategic planning to the Board.  Peter and his wife Kathy, live permanently at St Francis Links.

Andrea Puggia was appointed as an interim director in October 2024, in accordance with Article 6.1.9 of our respective Memoranda of Incorporation.  He has made himself available to stand as director again.

If Andrea is successfully elected as director of both companies, he will also serve as Chairman of the Audit, Compliance and Risk Committee, as he has done on an interim basis.

He brings a wealth of experience from his distinguished career as a partner at PwC in Port Elizabeth, from which he retired in 2023. Andrea is already a familiar face at the Links, splitting his time between Port Elizabeth and his home on the Links, which he shares with his wife Beth. Andrea has served as Treasurer and President of Humewood Golf Club and has held leadership roles in various community associations, further underscoring his suitability as our financial director.
